The Colossal Order Offices is a level 3 unique building in Cities: Skylines. To unlock it, you’ll need to do two things:

  • Reach the Boom Town milestone
  • Spend at least ₡20,000 on your education budget (upkeep) for at least 10 weeks

You can check your progress on the education budget by hovering over the silhouette of the Colossal Order Offices in the level 3 Unique Buildings tab.

It will show a progress bar with your current education spending amount until it hits ₡20,000; once it does, a 10-week counter will show instead.

Once the 10 weeks are over, you’ll be able to build the Colossal Order offices for ₡70,000. It provides 100 entertainment value and produces only 10 noise pollution.

This unique building is also a requirement for the Hadron Collider monument.

Spending ₡20,000 on Education

₡20,000 is a pretty big budget for education; that’s more than enough to provide school capacity for a population of several tens of thousands, all the way from elementary to university.

Below are the upkeep values for the different education buildings that you can spend on towards this unlock.

Tip: Enable the Education Boost Policy

To further boost your education spending, you can enable the Education Boost policy city-wide.

You can do this from the Policies panel. There you’ll find Education boost under the Services tab.

This policy will raise your education spending by 25%. It will also encourage young adults to prioritize going to school instead of working.
