Detailed Unlocking Guide

“Not Easy Being Green” can only be accessed after finishing the Level 50 MSQ “The Ultimate Weapon” from Raubahn in Northern Thanalan (X:15.0, Y:16.0).

So once you finish the patch 2.0 main story, talk to chef Bloezoeng in Mor Dhona (X:22.1, Y:8.7) to begin.

Bloezoeng recalls your previous triumph in The Wanderer’s Palace. A friend of his has a proposal for the adventurer who slew the tonberry king.

Speak with the Blundering Treasure Hunter and his partner in Upper La Noscea (X:30.0, Y:23.0) to continue.

The treasure hunters will ask for your help in driving out the Silverscale Mamool Ja beastmen that have taken over The Wandering Palace.

The tonberries residing in the palace have been enslaved and imprisoned by the Mamool Ja.

Both treasure hunters are grateful for the tonberries, who nursed them to full health after their previous expedition inside, and the hunters would like to return the favor.

Luckily, Abazi Charazi will once again be able to ferry you across to the palace. Speak with him in Upper La Noscea (X:25.6, Y:23.0) to proceed.

The lalafell is eager to take you to the palace to free the imprisoned tonberries.

After a quick chat, he’ll take you to the entrance, and The Wanderer’s Palace (Hard) will be unlocked.

This dungeon requires at least a Level 50 Disciple of War or magic and an average item level of 90 to enter.

  • Rushing Slash: A tankbuster attack on the primary target. Use mitigation skills and heal through the damage.
  • Rot Gas: A point-blank AoE attack that applies a 30-second “Poison” DoT and a 30-second “Disease” debuff. Dispel the debuffs as necessary. This attack also spawns a “Sacred Standard.”
  • Sacred Standard: An AoE totem that gives the boss constant “Damage Up” and “Vulnerability Down” buffs. Move the boss out of the AoE and destroy the totem immediately.
  • Soul Douse: Applies a 20-second “Doom” debuff to a random player. If the debuff ticks down to 0, the player will die. Heal the affected player to 100% HP to remove the debuff.
  • Vorpal Wheel: A single-target attack that applies the “Rotting Lungs” debuff. This debuff can be safely ignored.
  • Silverscale Zenist: Mamool Ja mobs will spawn later in the fight that can use “Groundburst,” similar to the second boss.
