Where To Get TM35 Flamethrower in Pokémon Black & White

The Flamethrower TM at the Abundant Shrine (Pokémon Black)

You will find TM35 Flamethrower in a Poké Ball on the ground at the Abundant Shrine. This shrine is located just off of Route 14, which is west of Undella Town.

But before you’re able to reach the Abundant Shrine, you must first beat the game by defeating the Elite Four and Team Plasma. You’ll also need Pokémon in your party that know both HM03 Surf and HM05 Waterfall.

As for the move itself: Flamethrower is one of the best Fire-type moves available, as it dishes out damage at 95 base Power with perfect Accuracy. It also has a 10% chance of inflicting its target with a burn.

Flamethrower Move Details
Type Fire
Category Special
Power 95
Accuracy 100
PP 15

Flamethrower is a strong Fire-type move that deals considerable damage at 95 base Power.

The move also features perfect Accuracy and a 10% chance to burn its target.

As a Special move, Flamethrower is at its best when used by a Pokémon with a strong Special Attack. Most Fire-type Pokémon learn Flamethrower via level-up, but there are a few exceptions to that rule.

Volcarona and Chandelure can only be taught Flamethrower using TM35, and both are strong Fire-types with exceptional Special Attack (135 and 145 base Special Attack, respectively.) So these would be great choices to teach this move via TM – unfortunately you can only get TM35 in the post-game, but still better late than never.

And there’s another thing to note here too:

Many non-Fire-types can learn Flamethrower as well. So consider teaching this move to any Pokémon with great Special Attack.

Hydreigon, Zoroark, Togekiss, and Salamence are all eligible to learn TM35 and they would make great Flamethower users in your party.
