How To Get TM59 Incinerate in Pokémon Black & White

Battle Subway area in Pokémon Black

You can get TM59 Incinerate for 36 Battle Points (BP) at an Exchange Service Corner within the Battle Subway. The Battle Subway is located in the center of Nimbasa City.

You’ll be able to reach Nimbasa City after defeating Gym Leader Burgh in Castelia City.

BP gets awarded to you after battling in the Subway, and the amount of BP you get is based on win streaks and difficulty of each battle.

TMs and other items can be purchased with BP at an Exchange Service Corner on each subway.

Incinerate sounds much more menacing than it actually is.

Being a Special Fire-type move, the attack deals minimal damage at 30 base Power.

Incinerate’s secondary effect doesn’t make the move much more desirable, either.

Burning your opponent’s berry can be beneficial… but ultimately that doesn’t warrant including Incinerate in your Pokémon’s move set. It’s also such a specific use case that it would very rarely make or break your victory in battle.

And at a price of 48BP, Incinerate simply isn’t worth the cost.

But if you’d really like to use the move, then Darumaka is very easy to obtain and it learns Incinerate naturally at level 6.
