How To Get TM64 Explosion in Pokémon Black & White

Inside battle subway in Pokémon Black

TM64 Explosion can only be obtained for 48 Battle Points (BP) at an Exchange Service Corner within the Battle Subway. You’ll find the Battle Subway in the center of Nimbasa City, right next door to the Pokémon Center.

The Battle Subway has seven subway trains that hold a different style of battle. BP is awarded after defeating trainers inside each train.

TMs and other items can be purchased with BP at an Exchange Service Corner on every train.

Explosion dishes out damage at a whopping 250 base Power, which makes it the strongest move in Pokémon.

This kind of strength doesn’t come without a major drawback, though – because the user of Explosion faints immediately after using it.

Even though Explosion is a Normal-type attack, it can only be learned by one Normal Pokémon – Lickilicky.

Teaching TM64 to Lickilicky is worthwhile, though, because STAB boosts Explosion’s base Power to an insane 375.

This all-but-guarantees a one-hit K.O. and makes Lickilicky the most powerful Pokémon to teach Explosion to.

Tip: Because your Pokémon will faint from the use of Explosion, it is recommended to keep this mostly as a last resort move. In most cases, players use this attack to quickly take out an opposing Stall or Sweeper Pokémon.

In Pokémon B&W you can find wild Lickitung in Challenger’s Cave. And Lickitung will evolve into Lickilicky once it levels up after knowing the move Rollout.
