Dragon Claw is typically featured in the moveset of every Dragon Pokémon thanks to the move’s reliability.

By default, this attack will never miss because of its perfect Accuracy. And it also deals considerable damage at 80 base Power.

And here’s a fun fact:

Dragon Claw is the only Dragon-type TM that can be acquired in FRLG. And this move can only be learned through TM02 (no Pokémon will learn it via level up).

Who To Teach Dragon Claw To

Teaching this move to your best Dragon-type is a great idea, since STAB (Same-type attack bonus) elevates the move’s Power up to 120.

Dragonite is by far the best Pokémon to teach Dragon Claw to in FireRed & LeafGreen. Because its 100 Special Attack packs quite a punch already.

But outside of Dragon-types, Charizard is also a great choice for this move.
