How To Get Blazikenite, Sceptilite & Swampertite in Pokémon ORAS

Mega Evolving Swampert in Pokémon ORAS

On Route 120, Steven will give you the Mega Stone for the starter you initially chose at the start of the game. If you want the other 2 Mega Stones, you can buy them at Route 114 from someone who sells various rocks after you defeat or capture Groudon/Kyogre.

Once you obtain the Balance Badge from Norman, the fifth Gym Leader, you can start to explore Hoenn’s east side – including Fortree City and Route 120.

Getting the Mega Stone for your Starter

Here’s what you need to do first before getting the Mega Stone for your starter:

  • Defeat Norman, the fifth Gym Leader from Petalburg City
  • Obtain HM03 Surf
  • Reach Fortree City

If you’ve done all that, you can now get your Mega Stone from Steven by following these steps:

Step 1: Start at Fortree City’s east exit and leave the city going east.

After defeating or capturing Groudon/Kyogre, a stone seller will appear on Route 114. They’re located west of Fallarbor Town.

The stone seller is next to the route sign, which is where you’ll land whenever you fly to the Route.

Out of the five stones he sells under different names, two of them will be the other Mega Stones for the starters you didn’t choose at the start of the game. The other three are just regular Hard Stones.

Here’s a breakdown of his inventory and what you get for each item:

Stone Name Actual Item
Withered Tree Sceptilite
Ebb Tide Swampertite
Fading Fire Blazikenite
Loneliness Hard Stone
Emotionless Hard Stone
Tears Hard Stone
