How To Get & Use the Pokéblock Kit in Pokémon ORAS

You will get the Pokéblock Kit from Lisia in Slateport City. It becomes available immediately after you deliver the Devon Parts to Captain Stern.

The Pokéblock Kit is also part of the main story, so it is an unmissable key item.

This fancy little kit has two different uses: making Pokéblocks, and storing them.

You can feed Pokéblocks to your Pokémon in order to increase their Contest Spectacular attributes, which include:

  • Beautiful
  • Clever
  • Cool
  • Cute
  • Tough

Increasing an attribute will give your Pokémon more points in the respective Contest.

Tip: In Pokémon ORAS, these attributes are also used as an evolutionary method. Maxing out a Feebas’ Beauty will make it evolve into Milotic after leveling up.

Getting the Pokéblock Kit (Step-by-Step)

After delivering the Devon Parts to Captain Stern, head out of the Oceanic Museum (staying in Slateport City).

Step 1: From the Ocean Museum, go to the main street and head north.

  • Blue for “Beautiful” Pokéblocks
  • Green for “Clever” Pokéblocks
  • Red for “Cool” Pokéblocks
  • Pink for “Cute” Pokéblocks
  • Yellow for “Tough” Pokéblocks

Pokéblocks come in two variations:

  • Regular Pokéblocks
  • Pokéblocks +

Regular Pokéblocks only have a single tone. They will randomly boost the respective attribute between 1% and 3%.

Pokéblocks + have two different tones and some grains on the surface. A Pokéblock + will boost the respective attribute by 6%.

The chance of making Pokéblocks + increases if you use rare Berries. Common Berries only have a small chance of producing Pokéblocks +.

You need to blend a minimum of two Berries to make Pokéblocks, and up to a maximum of four Berries. The Pokéblocks you get in the end will match the color of the Berries used in the process.

Note: Mixing two or three Berries of different colors will only result in a single color for the Pokéblocks. So blending two Blue Berries, one Red Berry, and one Yellow Berry is always going to result in four Blue Pokéblocks.

Rainbow Pokéblocks

If you mix four different colors of berries, you will obtain Rainbow Pokéblocks.

A regular Rainbow Pokéblock will increase all five attributes equally between 1% and 3%.

There is also a Rainbow Pokéblock + variation.

The Rainbow Pokéblock + is mostly white and has colored grains on its surface. It will boost all five attributes by 6%.

There are no limits to how many Pokéblocks you can feed to the same Pokémon.

You can also strategize which blocks you feed them to max out all five attributes of a single Pokémon.
