Using the Shiny Charm

The Shiny Charm improves the odds of finding a Shiny Pokémon to 3 in 4,096 (0.073%).

Masuda Breeding

Players can also combine the Shiny Charm with the Masuda Method for higher shiny odds via breeding. The Masuda Method consists in breeding Pokémon with different languages of origin.

Using the Masuda Method, players will also have an increased chance of hatching a Shiny Pokémon.

Pokémon with a different language of origin will have an icon on the top-left of their stats screen.
