Where To Get TM43 Flame Charge in Pokémon ORAS

Using Flame Charge in battle in Pokémon Omega Ruby

You can find TM43 Flame Charge in the northeast corner of Jagged Pass, which is the path south of Mt. Chimney’s crater. You’ll need to bring the Acro Bike to reach the TM’s exact location.

Flame Charge is a damage-dealing Fire-type move that boosts the user’s Speed stat.

It may have a low base power, but its guaranteed Speed boost makes it a decent utility move. One or two uses of Flame Charge on Pokémon with above average Speed may allow them to outspeed your opponent’s entire team.

TM43 Flame Charge Location (Step-by-Step)

Jagged Pass is the path that connects Mt. Chimney and Route 112. At first, Jagged Pass is only accessible by heading south from the top of Mt. Chimney. You can get there by riding a Cable Car on Route 112.

You will need your Acro Bike to obtain TM43 and explore Jagged Pass more.

If you currently have the Mach Bike, you can switch it for the Acro Bike over at Rydel’s Cycles on the east side of Mauville City. You can switch bikes at any time.

Step 1: Make your way to the base of Mt. Chimney by following the path from Route 112 heading west.

With a measly base power of 50, don’t expect Flame Charge to do much damage.

It’s mainly used to boost your Speed, allowing you to outspeed threats your opponent might have.

While Flame Charge isn’t a popular move in competitive battles, there’s still some use for it during a typical playthrough. Flame Charge is best used to finish off a Pokémon with low health for a free Speed boost. This makes it easier for your Physical Fire-types to sweep your opponent’s team.
