How To Get TM92 Trick Room in Pokémon ORAS

The 3rd puzzle room in the Trick House (Pokémon Alpha Sapphire)

On your third visit to the Trick House, you can obtain TM92 Trick Room from the Trick Master as a reward for completing his challenge. You can find the Trick House on Route 110.

The third puzzle of the Trick House is a dark maze. But you can bring a Pokémon that knows the move Flash to illuminate the room and make it easier to work through.

And as for the TM move itself: Trick Room allows slower Pokémon to move first, effectively reversing the turn order for five turns.

TM92 Trick Room Location (Step-by-Step)

You can find the Trick House on Route 110, just north of Slateport City. For the Trick Master’s third challenge, you will encounter a dark maze.

You will receive the Trick Room TM as a reward for completing the maze.

And while it is not a requirement, it is possible to illuminate the maze room using Flash – with this move, you can navigate through the puzzle easier. We’ll be using Flash for this guide to help you see exactly where to go.

Note: You can only complete one challenge in the Trick House per day.

Trick Room is a non-damaging move that lets Pokémon with a lower Speed stat to move first. Its effect lasts for five turns – the turn in which Trick Room is used counts as the first turn, so its duration is essentially four turns.

Tip: You can negate the effects of Trick Room by using it a second time while it is active.

Some Pokémon with high offensive and defensive stats suffer from having a low Speed stat as a counterbalance.

But with Trick Room, Pokémon such as Cresselia, Escavalier, and Dusknoir benefit from the reversed turn order.

Cresselia in particular has high base HP, Defense, and Special Defense stats. This makes it one of the best Trick Room setters to have on your team.
