How To Get TM67 Recycle in Pokémon Platinum

The Woman who has TM67 in Pokémon Platinum

You can get the only copy of TM67 Recycle from an elderly woman on the second floor of the Eterna City Condominiums.

There are no prerequisites or costs associated with getting this TM; you can receive it simply by talking to the elderly woman once you reach Eterna City.

Recycle is a non-damaging, Normal-type status move that allows the user to keep single-use held items even after using them in battle.

You can grab TM67 as early as your first visit to Eterna City.

From Eterna’s Pokémon Center, head south down the street.

Once you reach the Pokémart, head east on that street and you’ll come to a multi-story building with a sign out front that reads “Eterna Condominiums.” Head inside.

Pass through the ground floor and ascend the stairs in the upper-right corner.

At the southern end of the second story, you will find two elderly NPCs.

The woman in the lower-right corner of the screen will hand you TM67 Recycle, free of charge.

Recycle Move Details & Uses

Recycle is a Normal-type status move. It does no damage; rather, it allows the user to regain a single-use item (like a berry) held by the Pokémon performing the move, even if the Pokémon consumes the item during battle.

Recycle does not work on items lost by Pokémon in battle through moves like Thief and Knock Off. But it will respawn items consumed by Pokémon using these moves:

  • Bug Bite
  • Pluck
  • Natural Gift
  • Fling

Tip: If the Pokémon using Recycle is switched out during battle, the lost item will not be forgotten, and will still respawn after the fight.
