The only copy of TM92 Trick Room is given to you by a clown NPC located in one of the bungalows at the Hotel Grand Lake.
The specific bungalow you’re looking for is at the southern end of the Hotel complex, directly to your left after you enter the premises from Route 213’s beach.
Trick Room is a Psychic-type status move that reverses all Pokémon’s priority order in a turn, so that slower Pokémon move before faster ones. It does not inflict any damage.
TM92 Trick Room Location (Step-by-Step)

The quickest way to the Hotel Grand Lake is from Pastoria City.
Starting from the Pastoria Pokémon Center, head east.

Continue east until you reach the gate to Route 213, and pass through it.

Continue east after emerging on the other side.

When the path curves to the south, follow it onto the beach.

Once you hit the coast, turn eastward again and follow the coastline.

As you move east, the beach will become a narrow sandbar. When it widens again, head north.

Enter the first building you come across—the Hotel Grand Lake’s front desk/reception facility—and pass through it.

When you exit the reception building, head up the staircase to your immediate left, and enter the bungalow on that terrace.

Inside the bungalow in the upper-left corner of the room, a clown NPC will be facing a potted plant. Speak to him, and he will hand you TM92 Trick Room.

Note: When choosing which Pokémon to use TM92 Trick Room on, bear in mind that this is the only copy of the TM you will find in the game.
Trick Room Details + Uses

Trick Room is a Psychic-type, non-damaging status move. It flips the priority of a Pokémon’s action depending on its speed stat; the slowest Pokémon in battle will move before the faster ones.
The effect lasts for five turns, with the turn in which Trick Room is used counting as the first of the five.

Certain moves, abilities, and items are not affected by Trick Room.
- Moves that usually take higher priority, like Quick Attack and Shadow Sneak, will retain their priority boosts.
- Pokémon holding the items Lagging Tail or Full Incense will continue to move later in the turn, as will those with the ability Stall.
- Conversely, if a Quick Claw is activated during a turn, the Pokémon holding it will move first, as usual.
As Trick Room itself has a priority rating of -7, it will be used after all moves of normal priority have been completed.
Tip: Using Trick Room while Trick Room is already in play will end the effect.
