RF4 Ability Shop Guide (Location + Inventory List)

The Ability Store in Rune Factory 4 is where you can purchase abilities you’ve shipped using the shipment box.

How To Unlock the Ability Store in Selphia Town

To get the Ability Store to open up in town, you’ll need to invite the merchant for it.

To do that you’ll need to go to the Order Symbol in the Castle: Dragon Room and select the “Shops” option.

Under the shops category, look for the option to open up the Ability Shop.

You’ll need 2500 prince or princess points to open one up.

Tip: You can earn more points by defeating monsters or by completing requests left by the townspeople.

Where is the Ability Store?

Once you order the Ability Shop via the Order Symbol, the merchant will move into one of the vacant houses along Melody Street.

To get there, head for the south east staircase in Selphia: Town Square.

The next street you’ll find yourself at is Melody Street. So just keep heading east until you reach the last house at the end.

The Ability Store is the house sitting in the southeast corner of this area.

The exact location of the Ability Store is marked on the map below.

Once you go inside, you’ll find the merchant in the lower left section of the house.

Ability Store Inventory

To see what’s available in the store, pick the “Got any Rune Abilities?” option.

The Ability Store merchant will sell all Rune Abilities that you’ve shipped previously.

But you can refer to the table below to see a full list of all the abilities that can be sold in the store, and how much they buy & sell for.
