In this guide we’ll show you how to get to Idra Cave from Selphia Castle gate with step-by-step screenshots.
First, you’ll need to head south at the intersection from the castle gate.

In the next area, you’ll find yourself at another intersection. Head south again here.

Next up, you’ll be in a wide clearing with some colored grass and some low-level mobs scattered around.
Head for the east side of this area, then go through the path heading south. There should be giant mushrooms on either end of the path.

Next, you’ll end up in an area along Selphia Plain Mush Road.
There’ll be giant mushrooms scattered around the area. From here, you’ll need to go through the path heading east.

Next you’ll reach a bridge in an area called Selphia Plain Mush Span.
You’ll need to cross the bridge and head towards the east, exiting on the eastern side.

When you get to the next area, you’ll find yourself on a path with a house along the northern edge.
This house is where a fortune teller resides.
From here, you’ll need to head south again.

You’ll end up in a small clearing in Selphia Plain East. Head south once more here.

You’ll then find yourself in a small area of Selphia Plain East with a huge boulder in the center.
You’ll need to reach the southern exit, but follow the path on the left side of the boulder to get there. You’ll be able to make it to the southern exit through that path.

Next up is another small area in Selphia Plain East.
There is a path leading to the west, but initially this will be blocked by trees. When you get to the arc in the story that instructs you to find the Sechs hideout, the trees will be cleared by Vishnal once you arrive in this area.

Once the trees blocking the way are gone, you can proceed going west.

You should then arrive at Cerezo Bridge.
Just cross this bridge and head all the way to the west to get to the next area.

You’ll then find yourself on the west end of Cerezo Bridge. You may notice that the trees in this area have changed color, indicating that the season here is actually spring.
Go ahead and head west again.

You’ll then arrive at Sercerezo Hill.
This is an area in the game where it’s always spring, which explains the cherry blossom trees in bloom. In this particular area of Sercerezo Hill, you’ll find a journal that you can teleport to using the airship.
But to get to Idra Cave from here, you need to head south.

Next you’ll find yourself in a stretch called Daily Road, where a row of trees are blocking the bottom half of the area.
Head for the western side of the area, then go through the path towards the south.
Tip: There is a small boulder directly by the southern exit, so look for that boulder if you need a guide on where to go (pictured below).

You’ll then get to a small area with large mushrooms growing in different corners. From here, head west.

Next up is a short path with a house along the top edge. You can find some tourists residing in this house.
From here, continue heading west.

Finally, you’ll make it to Idra Cave.
The entrance is decorated with beautiful pink blossoms, so you can’t miss it.

The monsters in this dungeon are quite tough if you’re not prepared. So make sure to level up and to put on your best gear!
