RF4 Magic Shop: Location + Inventory List

To unlock the magic store in Selphia Town, you first need to make the order for the merchant to move in. To make this order you need to head to the Order Symbol found in the Castle: Dragon Room.

You can make the order for the Magic Shop by paying 2500 princess or prince points. To get these points, you’ll need to defeat monsters or complete requests given by the townspeople.

Once you make the order, the protagonist will exclaim that the magic merchant has moved into a house in Selphia: Dragon Lake!

The Magic Store is a shop where you can purchase different spells, and we’ll detail exactly where you can find it plus all the spells you can find here.

Magic Store Location

As expressed by the protagonist, you’ll find the magic merchant’s house sitting by Selphia: Dragon Lake.

The lake is found in the lower left corner of Selphia Town. The house with the merchant is right beside the bridge leading up to the Obsidian Mansion.

Once you go inside, you’ll see the merchant standing in the center of the room.

Speak to the merchant and ask to see some magic to see what they have in store.

Note: Much like the other merchants you order via the Order Symbol, the Magic Store merchant will only sell spells that you’ve previously shipped via the shipment box.

This is great for when you need to complete the achievement to sell every item in the game. You can sell the magic spells you pick up, then you can purchase them from the magic store.
