In this guide we’ll show you how to reach the Water Ruins in Rune Factory 4 with step-by-step screenshots.
From the Selphia Castle Gate, you’ll need to head south and leave at the southern exit.
Before you unlock the quest to investigate the Water Ruins, this next area will be blocked by giant fallen logs.
These logs will be cleared by Volkanon when you’re given the task to visit the Water Ruins by Venti.
So from here, you’ll need to go south again once the logs are cleared.
You’ll find yourself in a large area with several mobs and field items.
Make your way to the south east of this area and go through the path heading south.
The next area is called Selphia Plain Mush Road.
As described by the name, there will be giant mushrooms sprouting around.
Take the path heading east from here.
You’ll find yourself facing a bridge in this next area.
This place is called Selphia Plain Mush Span.
Cross the bridge all the way towards the east and take the path at the very end going east.
You’ll arrive at an area with a small cabin.
You’ll find that you’re now in Selphia Plain East. Keep heading east from here.
In the next area, you’ll find an archway decorating a path at the northern part of this area.
This exit leads to the ruins. So go ahead and make your way north past the archway.
You’ll then find yourself before the bridge that leads to the Water Ruins.
A save point is available right at the entrance, and the sign right next to it will tell you what to expect inside.
