Bamboo Shoots are easy-to-find, versatile ingredients that you can obtain for free by foraging in the mountains of Mineral Town. They can be found in the bamboo thickets near Kappa’s Lake in Spring.

Where To Find Bamboo Shoots

Bamboo Shoots can only be found on Mother’s Hill near the Lake. Right below Jennifer’s tent, there will be a small bamboo thicket on the left where Bamboo Shoots will typically spawn.

New Bamboo Shoots will respawn almost every day during Spring, so make sure to visit whenever you’re in the area.

As Food

Bamboo Shoots can be consumed by the farmer to restore a small amount of stamina. However, it does not offer any fatigue recovery.

Selling Bamboo Shoots

Bamboo Shoots can be sold to either Zack or Huang for around 50 G.

Shipping Bin

To sell Bamboo Shoots to Zack, simply drop them into the Shipping Bin and wait for him to pick them up at 5:00 PM every day.

The farmer drops a Bamboo Shoot into the Shipping Bin.

Selling Bamboo Shoots via the Shipping Bin will count towards the list of shippable items you need to achieve for full completion.

This is important because shipping all possible items is a requirement for marrying either Kappa or the Harvest Goddess. You can track your progress by checking the Shipping List on your bookshelf.

Huang’s Shop

You can also choose to bring your Bamboo Shoots over to Huang.

To sell to Huang, hold the item in your hands and interact with him over the counter.

The farmer sells Bamboo Shoots to Huang.

He will actually pay you a higher price for forageables that are not in season. For Spring forageables, you’ll get an additional 10% during Autumn and 20% in the Winter.
