Caffeine is a type of medicine that you can buy or make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

You can actually purchase Caffeine and other medicines from Elly’s front desk at Mineral Clinic for 1,000 G. But if you’d rather make it on your own, we’ll cover everything you need in this guide.

Where To Learn the Recipe

Cooking inspiration is something that happens automatically as you make dishes with different ingredients. Once you’ve cooked with an ingredient a certain number of times, you can unlock a new recipe that uses the same item.

The farmer gets inspired to cook Caffeine while in the kitchen.

To learn the recipe for Caffeine, you need to cook with the following ingredients:

Requirements

The farmer harvests a True Magic Red Flower in Autumn.

Equipment Needed

The equipment needed to make Caffeine can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

Ingredients Needed

The ingredients you need to make Caffeine are forageables or wild items that you can pick up around Mineral Town in certain seasons.

Orange Grass and White Grass are items that are only available around town in the Spring and Winter respectively, and the True Magic Red Flower is a random spawn from Magic Red Flower seeds in Autumn.

It’s a good idea to keep these three ingredients on hand just in case you need to make Caffeine throughout the year.

Caffeine Uses

The farmer drinks a bottle of Caffeine to restore fatigue while working in the fields.

As Food

Caffeine can be consumed by the farmer to restore a moderate amount of fatigue. However, it does not offer any stamina recovery.

How To Sell Caffeine

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite, as it will register as a gift instead.
