With this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know to make Mineral Town a little hotter with the Chili Pepper – including how to get them and their various uses in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

How To Plant and Harvest Chili Peppers

First you’ll need to go to the General Store and buy seeds from Jeff at the counter.

The farmer buys Chili Pepper seeds from Jeff at the General Store.

Chili Pepper seeds cost 300 G per bag and are only available during Autumn.

Each seed bag will cover a 3×3 area on your field.

After tilling the ground with your Hoe, you can equip the seed bag from your toolbox and plant the Chili Pepper. Make sure to water them at least once a day using your Watering Can!

If it’s raining, there’s no need to water your crops manually.

The farmer stands in the middle of a freshly planted Chili Pepper field.

Chili Peppers will be fully grown after 12 days and ready to harvest, and then again every 5 days after.

Chili Peppers Uses

The farmer cooks a Spicy Pepper Steak using a Chili Pepper.

How To Sell Chili Peppers

Zack (Shipping Bin)

Chili Peppers and other crops can usually be sold to Zack via the Shipping Bin. Just drop your produce into the box before 5 PM to automatically sell them.

The farmer drops a Chili Pepper into the Shipping Bin.

The price for Chili Peppers will increase depending on the quality.

Huang

You can also sell Chili Peppers directly to Huang if you prefer. He will actually pay you a higher price for crops that are not in season.

For Autumn crops, you’ll get an additional 12.5% during Spring and 10% in Winter and Summer.

During Autumn, Huang will only offer you the regular shipping price for Chili Peppers.
