How To Get Clippers in Story of Seasons: FoMT

The Clippers can be bought from the very start of the game at Saibara’s Forge. You can buy this tool from his shop (the Forge) for 1,800 G.

Clippers are mainly used to harvest three animal products on your farm:

Wool from Sheep
Fleece from Alpacas
Fur from Angora Rabbits

How To Get the Clippers

The Clippers are available for purchase from Saibara at the Forge. To get to the Forge, head north from your farm entrance and turn to the first right.

Saibara will only be available at the Forge from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, which is open every day except Thursday. Make sure to catch him when he’s behind the counter or you won’t be able to access his shop.

The Clippers will cost 1,800 G and will only be available for purchase one time.

After you buy the Clippers, you can head back to the farm and start harvesting wool.

Tip: Sheep and Alpacas will regrow their fur every 7 days, and Angora Rabbits every 5 days.

To use the Clippers, equip them from your toolbox and stand next to any animal that has fully regrown its fur while holding the action button.

The farmer uses the Clippers on a Sheep.

What To Do With Wool, Fleece, and Fur

These animal products are some of the most profitable items in the game.

Once you start to take care of Sheep, Alpacas, or Angora Rabbits, the Clippers are a must-have to keep them well-groomed.

Once harvested, the fleece can be sold via Zack at the Shipping Bin just like any regular item.

The farmer drops an X Angora Fur into the Shipping Bin.

You can also sell Fleece to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell the Fleece to Huang, stand in front of his counter and speak to him while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite from behind the counter, as that will register as a gift instead.

As a special offer, Huang will pay an additional 5% (or more) for any animal products on Wednesdays.
