Recipe Requirements
Equipment Needed
The equipment needed to make Daifuku can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.
The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.
This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.
Equipment | Availability | Cost |
---|---|---|
Seasoning Set | Immediately after upgrading to the Medium House | 2,500 G |

Ingredients Needed
The recipe for Daifuku might seem simple, but the challenge lies in actually obtaining the ingredients you need.
Mochi is a somewhat rare item in Mineral Town, as you can only get it at the start of the year during every Spring. So when the opportunity arises, make sure to get as much Mochi as you can!

How To Sell Daifuku
Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.
To sell a dish to Huang, speak to him in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite because that will register as a gift instead.
Huang will then offer you a price, which you can actually reject for a chance at getting him to bid higher.
The price range for Daifuku is anywhere between 180 G and 270 G.
If Huang offers you 210 G for the item, for example, you can turn him down and try again to get a higher price.
Keep in mind that his bids will never go lower or higher than this defined range, so 270 G is the maximum price you can get for selling Daifuku.
