The General Store is where you can buy crop seeds, cooking ingredients, and kitchen utensils, among a few other items.

The store is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it’s open every day except for Sundays, Tuesdays, and holidays.

General Store Location

To get to the General Store, head over to the northernmost part of Mineral Town. The store is the dark blue building located between Mayor Thomas’ house and the Clinic.

Inside the store you’ll find the owner Jeff at his counter near the top right corner.

Interacting with him will open the shop’s inventory.

Tip: If you click on the pile of gift wrappers beside him, it will allow you to wrap any item as a gift for only 100 G.

Seeds

Jeff will only carry the seeds available for the current season. During Winter, you will not be able to buy any seeds from the General Store.

Each bag of seeds will plant a 3×3 field and yield 9 crops.

Kitchen Utensils

There are 8 cooking utensils in total. These are placed in your kitchen after you buy the Slightly Bigger House upgrade, and you’ll need various utensils to make different recipes in the game.

The farmer stands in the middle of the kitchen with complete utensils.

Tip: Each utensil appears in the shop 10 days after the last one. When a new utensil that becomes available, Jeff will also send you a letter in the mail as a reminder.

The farmer holds up a wrapped gift in the General Store.

Wrapping an item before you offer it to someone as a gift can get you 25% more Friendship Points and Love Points.

And gift wrapping an item is super easy:

Simply head over to Jeff’s counter with your item in hand, interact with the pile of gifts, and pay 100 G to wrap your item.
