Gray is Saibara’s grandson and apprentice. He works at the Forge with his grandpa supervising his training.

His birthday is on Winter 6th. If you set your farmer’s birthday on the same day, his birthday will be on Winter 23rd instead.

Gray likes a lot of food and ore/minerals, so it’s good to be friends with him if you spend a lot of time in the mines. And our guide below offers a blueprint to easily win his friendship.

Schedule

You can find Gray every day at Saibara’s forge, except for Thursdays when the shop is closed. Other than that, he has a pretty consistent schedule regardless of the weather or season.

Gray works next to the anvil at the Forge.

As you continue to raise your friendship points and heart level with Gray, you can unlock heart events that allow you to get to know him better.

During the cutscene, your farmer will have to respond with one dialogue option. Choosing the correct response will give you 3,000 LP with Gray, otherwise you will lose -2,000 LP.

Below is a list of each heart event and the requirements needed to trigger them.

Remember that you can only view a heart event once you’ve successfully seen all the previous ones, so make sure you’ve checked every single one on the list!

Marriage/Friendship Perks

Gray is a marriage candidate. As you progress in your relationship with him, he gifts you jewelry that he made at the Forge.

And for a set number of tool upgrades or commissions you get at Saibara’s shop, you get a bonus 2,500 LP with Gray. You can earn this up to five times after you complete 15, 25, 35, 45, and 55 orders.
