Ice Cream is one of the many desserts that you can make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. And you can make Ice Cream in any season because the ingredients needed for it are available year-round!

Where To Learn the Recipe

Once you reach 8 friendship notes (at least 200 friendship points) with Anna, you can unlock her Confectionaries Class which is held at Basil’s house on Saturdays.

Anna invites the farmer to join her Confectionaries Class.

Here are the requirements to unlock the first cooking event:

It is anytime between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on a Saturday
The weather is Sunny
The farmer has spoken to both Anna and Manna in the last season
Both Anna and Manna are inside Basil’s house

After completing the first class, you can come back every Saturday to Basil’s house to learn more recipes. Anna will teach you six recipes in total: Cake, Cookies, Pudding, Cheesecake, Apple Pie, and Ice Cream.

Anna will demonstrate the recipe for Ice Cream on your 6th and last visit.

Anna teaches the farmer how to make Ice Cream.

Mugi will also teach you the recipe for Ice Cream once you reach 4 friendship notes with him.

Mugi offers to teach the farmer the recipe for Ice Cream.

If you want to become quick friends with Mugi, a great way to gain friendship points is to give him Hot Spring Eggs, Mochi, or Zaru Soba!

Requirements

The farmer harvests Eggs in the Coop.

Equipment Needed

The equipment needed to make Ice Cream can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

Ingredients Needed

If you want to make Ice Cream, you need to have mature cows and chickens on your farm. Once you’re able to produce Milk and Eggs regularly, you can make Ice Cream anytime you want as long as you look after your animals!

Ice Cream Uses

The farmer eats Ice Cream to restore stamina while working in the fields.

As Food

Ice Cream can be consumed by the farmer to restore a moderate amount of stamina. However, it does not offer any fatigue recovery.

How To Sell Ice Cream

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite, as it will register as a gift instead.
