As you continue to raise your friendship points with Jeff, you can unlock townsfolk events that allow you to get to know him better.

Unlike marriage candidates, you aren’t really required to respond with specific dialogue in order to gain their favor.

They also aren’t required to advance in your friendship with the non-marriageable villagers. Below is a list of each event related to Jeff and the requirements needed to trigger them.

Townsfolk events are one of the only ways you can unlock certain recipes, items, and quests in the game. Make sure you try to see them all to understand Mineral Town and its residents better!

Friendship Perks

Jeff talks to the farmer as he explains his gift-wrapping services.

Befriending Jeff will allow you to enter the General Store from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but you cannot buy anything until he officially opens. His store hours will still remain at 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
