Mei is Mugi’s granddaughter and she lives with him at Yodel Ranch. She is friends with Yu, and they can often be found playing in town or the forest.

Her birthday is on Winter 26th.

Schedule

Mei stands outside the Church with Yu and Carter.

Mei plays a lot outdoors, especially near Yodel Ranch where she lives. If the weather is favorable, she always visits Carter at the Church to listen to his stories.

As you continue to raise your friendship points with Mei, you can unlock townsfolk events that allow you to get to know her better.

Unlike marriage candidates, you aren’t really required to respond with specific dialogue in order to gain their favor. Sometimes simply participating in the event is enough!

They also aren’t required to advance in your friendship with the non-marriageable villagers. Below is a list of each townsfolk event and the requirements needed to trigger them.

Townsfolk events are one of the only ways you can unlock certain recipes, items, and quests in the game. Make sure you try to see them all in order to understand Mineral Town and its residents better.

Friendship Perks

Mei participates in Kai’s welcome event with Popuri and the farmer.

Befriending Mei will not give you any recipes or special items. However, she is included in some cutscenes where you can gain extra friendship points with Kai.
