Mithril is one of the ores that you can get in the Spring Mine. They don’t sell for much on their own, but you can use them to upgrade your tools.

How To Get Mithril

Mithril Ores can only be found by breaking rocks with your Hammer starting from level 9 in the Spring Mine. Just keep digging until you finally find a piece of Mithril.

Note: Mithril can mostly just be found between Levels 9-255 in the Spring Mine.

The farmer finds Mithril in the Spring Mine.

You don’t need any upgraded tools to get Mithril. So if you’ve unlocked the Mine Elevator already, skip to a floor past Level 9 for increased chances of finding some.

Upgrading Tools

A Mithril upgrade is one of the more powerful ways to make your tools more efficient.

For example, with a Mithril Hoe, you can now till the ground 6 squares ahead of you at once!

Here are the requirements you need for each Mithril Upgrade:

100% experience with a Gold tool
5,000 G
One Mithril Ore

Once you gain enough experience with a tool, you’ll get a message telling you can upgrade that tool at the Forge.

Keep in mind that once you ask Saibara to upgrade one of your tools, you won’t be able to use it until he’s done and you pick it up from him at the Forge.

Selling Mithril

Mithril can be sold to either Zack or Huang for 40 G.

To sell your Mithril to Zack, simply drop your ores into the Shipping Bin and wait for him to pick them up at 5:00 PM every day.

The farmer drops Mithril into the Shipping Bin.

Selling your Mithril via the Shipping Bin will count towards the list of shippable items you need to achieve for full completion.

Shipping all possible items is a requirement for marrying Kappa or the Harvest Goddess! You can track your progress by checking the Shipping List on your bookshelf.
