Mushrooms are one of the items you can forage during Autumn in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. They’re a staple ingredient for many recipes, making them a valuable Autumn find.

Where To Find Mushrooms

Mushrooms are only forageable during Autumn, where you can find them in different areas across town.

The most common place to find Mushrooms is in the Church Forest, which is unlocked via the Church’s back door when you reach 8 friendship notes with Carter. But there are many other spawn locations too.

Mushrooms can actually be foraged in 5 different places. We’ve listed every location below and marked them on the town map:

Church Forest – behind Carter’s secret door in Mineral Church
Hill Path – the path and bridge leading to the Summit
Secret Forest – in the center of Mineral Town
Meadow – the area to the left after crossing the bridge above Mother’s Lake
South Forest – below your farm, near Gotts’ workshop

New Mushrooms will respawn almost every day during Autumn, so make sure to visit whenever you’re in the area.

Mushroom Uses

As Food

Mushrooms can be consumed to restore a small amount of stamina. However, this item does not offer any fatigue recovery when eaten.

Selling Mushrooms

Mushrooms can be sold to either Zack or Huang for around 50 G.

Shipping Bin

To sell Mushrooms to Zack, simply drop them into the Shipping Bin and wait for him to pick them up at 5:00 PM every day.

The farmer drops a Mushroom into the Shipping Bin.

Note: Selling Mushrooms via the Shipping Bin will count towards the list of shippable items you need to achieve for full completion. This is important because shipping all possible items is a requirement for marrying either Kappa or the Harvest Goddess. You can track your progress by checking the Shipping List on your bookshelf.

Huang’s Shop

You can also choose to bring your Mushrooms over to Huang.

To sell to Huang, hold the item in your hands and interact with him over the counter.

The farmer sells Mushrooms to Huang.

He will actually pay you a higher price for forageables that are not in season. For Autumn forageables, you’ll get an additional 12.5% during Spring and 10% in the Summer and Winter.
