Okonomiyaki is one of the easiest dishes you can make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. The best time to cook Okonomiyaki is in the Spring because you can easily get plenty of Cabbages and Mochi.

Gotts will teach you the recipe for Okonomiyaki once you reach 4 friendship notes with him.

Gotts offers to teach the farmer the recipe for Okonomiyaki.

If you want to become quick friends with Gotts, a great way to gain friendship points is to give him Cucumbers, Material Stone, or Dorayaki!

Recipe Requirements

The farmer harvests Eggs in the Coop.

Equipment Needed

The equipment needed to make Okonomiyaki can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

Ingredients Needed

To cook Okonomiyaki, you’ll need Eggs, Cabbage, and some basic ingredients. Your chickens will lay Eggs in any season as long as you take care of them properly.

Mochi is a tricky ingredient to obtain because you can only get it around the New Year, in the first week of Spring.

How To Sell Okonomiyaki

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite behind the counter, as that will register as a gift instead.

The farmer stands in front of Huang’s counter while holding Okonomiyaki.

Huang will then offer you a price, which you can actually reject for a chance at getting him to bid higher.

The price range for Okonomiyaki is anywhere between 118 G and 127 G. If Huang offers you 124 G for the item, for example, you can turn him down and try again to get a higher price.
