Pepper Steak is a quick and easy dish that you can make with forageable Bamboo Shoots in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. The best time to cook Pepper Steak is in Spring or Autumn because you can grow and forage most of the ingredients needed for it all season long.

Where To Learn the Recipe

Cooking inspiration is something that happens automatically as you make dishes with different ingredients. Once you’ve cooked with an ingredient a certain number of times, you can unlock a new recipe that uses the same item!

To learn the recipe for Pepper Steak, you need to cook with the following ingredients:

For each additional star that an ingredient has, the number of times you need to cook with it decreases by a factor of 1.

If a recipe states that you have to cook with Green Peppers 10 times to unlock it, you can make any dish with 1-star Green Peppers 10 times. But if you have 2-star Green Peppers, you only need to cook with them around 5 times. Likewise, 5-star Green Peppers will unlock the recipe after only 2 uses.

The equipment needed to make Pepper Steak can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

How To Sell Pepper Steak

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite behind the cardboard box, as that will register as a gift instead.
