SoS: FoMT Ran Gifts Guide (Friendship + Marriage)

Ran is Dudley’s only daughter and she stays at the Inn with him.

Her birthday is on Summer 17th. If you set your farmer’s birthday on the same day, her birthday will be on Summer 22nd instead.

If you want to befriend and/or eventually marry Ran, this guide will cover everything you need to have a successful relationship with her.

Schedule

It’s easy to find Ran because she doesn’t tend to wander around Mineral Town, and more or less has the same routine every day.

She’s usually inside Dudley’s Inn and visits the Harvest Goddess’ Pond every morning if it’s sunny.

Heart Events

As you continue to raise your friendship points and heart level with Ran, you can unlock heart events that allow you to get to know her better.

During the cutscene, your farmer will have to respond with one dialogue option. Choosing the correct response will give you 3,000 LP with Ran, otherwise you will lose -2,000 LP.

Below is a list of each heart event and the requirements needed to trigger them.

Remember that you can only view a heart event once you’ve successfully seen all the previous ones, so make sure you’ve checked every single one on the list!

Marriage/Friendship Perks

Ran is a marriage candidate. As you progress in your relationship with Ran, heart events will trigger that will not only increase your LP with her, but also your friendship with other villagers (like Dudley, Doctor, and Elly).

Buying food from Dudley at the Inn will also give you bonus LP with Ran. For every 10 dishes bought, you’ll earn 2,500 LP until you buy a total of 50 dishes.
