Roasted Corn, like Popcorn, is one of the easiest and cheapest dishes you can make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

The best time to make this dish is in the Summer, because you can grow and harvest Corn all season!

Where To Learn the Recipe

Lou is the visitor from the Forgotten Valley that appears in Mineral Town after you offer 75 gifts to the Harvest Goddess. You can visit her in her room on the 2nd floor of Dudley’s Inn every Sunday.

Lou offers to teach the farmer the recipe for Roasted Corn.

Befriending Lou will prompt her to teach you a new recipe each time you visit. She has a total of 10 new recipes to teach you. There are prerequisites for learning a new recipe, though!

Lou will only teach you the recipe for Roasted Corn once you’ve successfully cooked at least any three of the following dishes before visiting her:

Requirements

The farmer buys Corn Seeds from Jeff.

Equipment Needed

The equipment needed to make Roasted Corn can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

Ingredients Needed

To cook Roasted Corn, you’ll need just one simple ingredient: Corn. Maximize the potential of this cheap dish and keep it on hand for extra stamina when fishing, farming, or mining!

How To Sell Roasted Corn

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite, as it will register as a gift instead.

Huang will then offer you a price, which you can actually reject for a chance at getting him to bid higher.

The price range for Roasted Corn is anywhere between 173 G and 182 G. If Huang offers you 181 G for the item, for example, you can turn him down and try again to get a higher price.
