Sashimi is one of the easiest dishes you can make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town – as long as you know how to fish.

Where To Learn the Recipe

The recipe for Sashimi is something that you (basically) already know at the start of the game.

Once you obtain the kitchen in the Medium House upgrade, you can start cooking Sashimi right away!

The farmer buys the Slightly Bigger (Medium) House upgrade from Gotts.

You’ll still need some equipment to be able to cook the dish, though, and have an advanced Fishing Rod to catch all the ingredients you need.

Requirements

The farmer catches a Medium Fish in the Ocean.

Equipment Needed

The equipment needed to make Sashimi can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

Ingredients Needed

To make Sashimi, you’ll need different sizes of Fish.

Zack will give you a Fishing Rod during the early days of your game. Like the rest of your tools, you can bring the Fishing Rod to Saibara for upgrades which will allow you to catch bigger Fish.

The minimum upgrade required to catch a Large Fish is the Gold Fishing Rod.

The farmer buys a Fishing Rod upgrade from Saibara at the Forge.

Sashimi Uses

The farmer cooks Sushi in the kitchen using Sashimi.

As Food

Sashimi can be consumed by the farmer to restore a moderate amount of stamina. However, it does not offer any fatigue recovery.

How To Sell Sashimi

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin.

However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite, as it will register as a gift instead.
