Silver is one of the ores that you can get in the Spring Mine. These ores don’t sell for much on their own, but you can use them to upgrade your tools.

How To Get Silver Ores

Silver Ore can only be found by breaking rocks with your Hammer in the Spring Mine (located near the Hot Spring). This ore spawns starting from floor 3, so just keep digging and breaking rocks in the Spring Mine until you finally find some Silver!

You also don’t need any upgraded tools to get Silver Ores.

Tip: If you’ve unlocked the Mine Elevator already, skip to a floor past Level 3 for increased chances of finding some Silver.

Silver Ore Uses

Upgrading Tools

Silver tools are the first upgrade you can get for all of your tools to make them more efficient.

For example, with a Silver Sickle, you can now reap crops 3×2 squares ahead of you instead of only 1 square directly in front of you!

Here are the requirements you need for each Silver upgrade:

  • 28% experience with a Copper tool
  • 2,000 G
  • One Silver Ore

Once you gain enough experience with a tool, you’ll get a message confirming that you can upgrade that tool at the Forge.

Keep in mind that once you ask Saibara to upgrade one of your tools, you won’t be able to use it until he’s done and you pick it up from him at the Forge.

Selling Silver Ores

Silver can be sold to either Zack or Huang for 20 G.

To sell your Silver to Zack, simply drop your ores into the Shipping Bin and wait for him to pick them up at 5:00 PM every day.

Selling your Silver via the Shipping Bin will count towards the list of shippable items you need to achieve for full completion.

Shipping all possible items is a requirement for marrying Kappa or the Harvest Goddess.

You can track your progress by checking the Shipping List on your bookshelf.
