Spicy Sandwich is a fun spin on a classic dish that you can make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

Where To Learn the Recipe

Cooking inspiration is something that happens automatically as you make dishes with different ingredients. Once you’ve cooked with an ingredient a certain number of times, you can unlock a new recipe that uses the same item!

The farmer gets inspired to cook a Spicy Sandwich while in the kitchen.

To learn the recipe for a Spicy Sandwich, you need to cook with the following ingredients:

The quality of the ingredients you use can reduce the number of times you need to cook with that item. You can check the quality by looking at how many stars the ingredient has.

For each additional star that an ingredient has, the number of times you need to cook with it decreases by a factor of 1.

If a recipe states that you have to cook with Cucumbers 10 times to unlock it, you can make any dish with 1-star Cucumbers 10 times. But if you have 2-star Cucumbers, you only need to cook with them around 5 times. Likewise, 5-star Cucumbers will unlock the recipe after only 2 uses.

Recipe Requirements

The farmer harvests Cucumbers from a field in the Spring.

Equipment Needed

The equipment needed to make a Spicy Sandwich can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

Ingredients Needed

To cook a Spicy Sandwich, you’ll need a lot of vegetables which can only be grown in different seasons. This makes it difficult to obtain all the recipes you need at once.

To work around this, you can save some produce from each of your harvests and store them in the kitchen fridge for later use in these recipes!

The farmer eats Spicy Sandwich to restore fatigue in the morning.

As food

A Spicy Sandwich can be consumed by the farmer to restore a moderate amount of stamina. Spicy dishes also have the ability to restore a lot of fatigue.

How To Sell Spicy Sandwiches

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite behind the counter, as it will register as a gift instead.

Huang will then offer you a price, which you can actually reject for a chance at getting him to bid higher.

The price range for a Spicy Sandwich is anywhere between 480 G and 570 G.

If Huang offers you 550 G for the item, for example, you can turn him down and try again to get a higher price.

Huang offers to buy a Spicy Sandwich from the farmer.

Keep in mind that his bids will never go lower or higher than this defined range, so 570 G is the maximum price you can get for selling a Spicy Sandwich.
