Strawberry Cake is one of the many desserts that you can make in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. The best time to cook Strawberry Cake is in the Spring because you can grow the ingredients needed for it all season long!

Where To Learn the Recipe

Cooking inspiration is something that happens automatically as you make dishes with different ingredients. Once you’ve cooked with an ingredient a certain number of times, you can unlock a new recipe that uses the same item!

To learn the recipe for Strawberry Cake, you need to cook with the following ingredients:

The quality of the ingredients you use can reduce the number of times you need to cook with that item.

For each additional star that an ingredient has, the number of times you need to cook with it decreases by a factor of 1.

If a recipe states that you have to cook with Strawberries 10 times to unlock it, you can make any dish with 1-star Strawberries 10 times. But if you have 2-star Strawberries, you only need to cook with them 5 times. Likewise, 5-star Strawberries will unlock the recipe after only 2 uses.

Requirements

The farmer harvests Strawberries from a field in the Spring.

Equipment Needed

The equipment needed to make Strawberry Cake can be bought from Jeff at the General Store.

The downside is that Jeff sells his kitchen equipment one by one, in 10-day intervals after you buy the first of Gotts’ house remodeling upgrades.

This means that you can only access the next piece of equipment 10 days after the previous one becomes available for purchase.

Ingredients Needed

It’s actually pretty simple to make Strawberry Cake! Just make sure that you have mature cows and chickens on your farm so you can regularly harvest Milk and Eggs.

Strawberries are crops that only grow in the Spring, so make sure to stock up using your fridge if you want to make Strawberry Cake during other seasons.

How To Sell Strawberry Cake

Any dishes made in your kitchen can’t be shipped through Zack and the Shipping Bin. However, you can start selling food to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite, as it will register as a gift instead.

Huang will then offer you a price, which you can actually reject for a chance at getting him to bid higher.

The price range for Strawberry Cake is anywhere between 380 G and 470 G.

If Huang offers you 390 G for the item, for example, you can turn him down and try again to get a higher price.

Huang offers to buy Strawberry Cake from the farmer.

Keep in mind that his bids will never go lower or higher than this defined range, so 470 G is the maximum price you can get for selling Strawberry Cake.
