X Eggs are an animal product that you can get in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Usually you have a 1 in 255 chance to get an X Egg from chickens that have the following qualifications:

8-10 hearts
Spent a total of 600 hours outside
Have previously won the Chicken Festival

But if you don’t want to go through the trouble of waiting for a chicken to lay these rare eggs, you can just make an X Egg from a recipe in the comfort of your farmhouse kitchen.

Where To Learn the Recipe

Cooking inspiration is something that happens automatically as you make dishes with different ingredients. Once you’ve cooked with an ingredient a certain number of times, you can unlock a new recipe that uses the same item!

The farmer gets inspired to cook X Egg while in the kitchen.

To learn the recipe for X Eggs, you need to cook with the following ingredients:

An X Egg can be consumed by the farmer to restore a small amount of stamina. But it does not offer any fatigue recovery.

How To Sell X Eggs

X Eggs aren’t technically classified as a dish, so you can ship them via Zack and the Shipping Bin like any regular item.

The farmer drops an X Egg into the Shipping Bin.

Or you can also sell X Eggs to Huang once you become friends with him at 4 friendship notes.

To sell a dish to Huang, stand in front of his counter while holding the item. Don’t interact directly with his sprite, as it will register as a gift instead.

Since X Eggs are a regular item, you won’t be able to haggle the prices with Huang. He will offer you the same price that you would typically earn from shipping the item instead.

But as a special offer, Huang will pay an additional 5% (or more) for any Egg products on Tuesdays.
