Aluminum Dragon Event Guide (Spiritfarer)

Aluminum Dragon providing Aluminum Ore (Spiritfarer)

The Aluminum Dragon event is another minigame that the spirit Summer will introduce to you towards the end of her quest line.

Much like the Quartz Dragon, this event will also combine mining and platforming. Furthermore, each run will also yield a healthy chunk of aluminum to be used for a number of improvements and facilities.

This guide will teach you everything you need to know about this minigame.

Unlocking the Minigame

Summer will also introduce you to the Aluminum Dragon.

Right after Summer wakes up from the “A Cold and Dreamless Slumber” request, she will automatically unlock a new one: “The Metastatic Coil.”

Here, she will say that she’s having visions of another dragon again, and will mark a new location in your map to sail to (X: -132, Y: 134).

Note: In order to reach this area, you must first have the Icebreaker Ship Improvement upgrade from Albert’s Shipyard.

Much like the Quartz Dragon, the surroundings will get dark again once you arrive, and Summer will be waiting by the bow of the ship along with the dragon.

Simply interact with Summer to start the event.

Minigame Details

This event lasts as long as the first dragon, and the mechanics itself are the same.

There’s still no strict time limit, and you will need to jump on the dragon’s back and mine the nodes you find.

But this dragon is more “difficult” than the first one, requiring double jumps and quicker platforming skills. You will also have to look out for tail-like whips that will fling you far away when hit.

Nevertheless, you’ll still end up with a good amount of aluminum ore when you’re done. Stella will also automatically jump back on the ship once the event concludes.

Unlike the Quartz Dragon, the Aluminum Dragon is only available in one location on the World Map (X: -132, Y: 134).

Once Summer leaves the ship, the aluminum dragon can also be triggered by sailing to the location and interacting with the door of her home.
