Beef Fondue is an old-fashioned dish in Spiritfarer, combining fat and beef as ingredients. It’s also Giovanni’s favorite food.

What You Need

If you wish to make this old-fashioned dish, you will need a few things:

The Improved Kitchen
1 Piece of Beef
1 Fat (Any Type)

To make the improved kitchen, take the blueprint that Atul will give to you during his “Big Stove” request. Improving your kitchen allows you to cook dishes that use two ingredients.

Where To Get Beef

Beef costs 250 Glims each.

You can buy beef on the island of Oxbury at the Racoon Shop Branch for 250 Glims each.

But to get there, make sure your ship is already equipped with the Rock Destroyer Boat Improvement. If not, this upgrade can be purchased from Albert’s Shipyard. And if you need help with this upgrade we have a guide listing where to get all the materials for each boat improvement.

Where To Get Fat

Making sunflower oil in the Crusher.

You can make two kinds of fat in Spiritfarer. These include:

Olive Oil (Made from Olives)
Sunflower Oil (Made from Sunflowers)

To make these ingredients, you will need to first buy either of these seeds:

Olive Seeds (2,120 Glims, Edgeborough Shop)
Sunflower Seeds (140 Glims, Nordweiler Shop)

Once you have your choice of seeds, head back to your ship and plant them in the Garden. When growing any crop, you can either water normally or speed up plant growth by playing the “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame.

Once they’re fully grown, take the plants you harvested and put them inside the Crusher. This is a simple process that involves pressing the same button repeatedly until fat comes out. Up to 5 of the same item can be placed inside the machine at once.

Cooking Beef Fondue

Using sunflower oil and beef to cook Beef Fondue.

Combine the fat and beef in the improved kitchen and wait until the timer finishes. The dish will be ready immediately after, but remember that any food left inside the oven any longer than the indicated waiting time can lead to burnt food.

As an old-fashioned dish, you can serve Beef Fondue to these spirits:

Atul
Gustav
Bruce & Mickey
Giovanni (Favorite Food)

Beef Fondue is also Giovanni’s favorite food, meaning that giving it to him will immediately improve his mood. When happy, Giovanni will give you perks including hugs and jewels that you can sell for extra Glims.

But if you don’t have any of these spirits, you can also sell Beef Fondue to Raccoon Shop locations for 775 Glims each.
