Bouillabaisse is a type of Fine Dining soup that you can whip up in Spiritfarer. To make this dish, you will need fish and either mushrooms or veggies.

What You Need

In order to make this dish, you will first need:

Improved Kitchen
1 Fish (Any Type)
1 Mushroom or Veggie (Any Type)

To get the improved kitchen, simply follow Atul’s questline until he gives you the “Big Stove” request. Completing this request will earn you the blueprint to upgrade your kitchen.

How To Get Fish

You can use any type of fish for this dish.

For this step, simply head towards the stern of your ship (just behind your cabin) and sit on the chair. This automatically starts the fishing minigame and Stella will cast a line in the water.

First, wait for a bite. This is indicated by your fishing lure going underwater, or your game controller vibrating.
Once you get a bite, hold your interact button to start reeling.
While reeling, your line will either become red or yellow. A red line means that you have let go so it doesn’t break, while a yellow line means you can start reeling again.
Alternating between reeling in and letting go, do this until you catch a fish.

Luckily, any fish you end up catching (there are plenty of easy ones to catch) can be used on this dish.

How To Get Mushrooms

Once he’s on the boat, you can always find Buck accompanying you in islands with mushrooms.

The next ingredient is a mushroom, which can be easily picked up from these locations:

1 Mushroom at Gurenu Fields
2 Mushrooms at Iwashima Countryside
1 Mushroom at Resuteno Meadows

Alternatively, you can also use any kind of veggie that you already have on this dish. However, picking up mushrooms from any of the locations above is significantly quicker and easier.

How To Cook Bouillabaisse

Finally, input both of the ingredients that you have inside the kitchen oven. Then wait for the timer to run out to get your completed dish.

Note that the length of the timer differs from dish to dish, but leaving any dish inside the oven for too long will lead to burnt food.

Lastly, you can sell this dish to any nearby Raccoon Shop location for 140 glims each.
