Bruce & Mickey are inseparable sibling spirits that count as one passanger when they join Stella as on the ship.

This guide will provide a detailed step-by-step walkthrough of their complete quest line from start to finish. We will also provide insight regarding their interests, characteristics, mood factors, and perks.

How To Get Bruce & Mickey

Upon first meeting the duo, Bruce & Mickey will ask you to “bully” a spirit.

Step 1: Start by making sure that your ship has already been upgraded with the Rock Destroyer boat improvement.

Step 2: Then head on over to Southpoint Docks, the first island you can find after getting through the rock barrier.

Walk right and talk to the first spirit you see to “bully” him.

Step 3: Once you’re there, climb the ladder nearby and talk to the first spirit you’ll see.

They’ll ask you to “bully” another spirit, so head left and talk to the next spirit you run into.

Step 4: Head back to the first spirit and talk to them. They’ll think you bullied the spirit either way, and as a result, they’ll hop aboard the ship to reveal their true form as Bruce & Mickey.

Bruce & Mickey’s Complete Quest Line

Rhythm of the Night

The siblings asking you to fight pulsar rays as their first request.

Right after they join the ship, Bruce & Mickey will ask you to “fight” some pulsar rays.

You’ll need to head to your map and sail towards the nearest pulsar ray location, marked by the logo shown on the picture below.

Pulsar ray events are usually found in areas where the water on the map is “darker”. Here are all the locations:

X: 156, Y: -15 (Oxbury Region)
X: 219, Y: -95 (Oxbury Region)
X: 239, Y: 87 (Crow’s End Region)

This minigame consists of you catching a number of blue-colored rays that fly in all sorts of directions around the ship.

But you can also check our Pulsar Ray Events guide for extra information.

Just meet the pulsar rays head-on to get pulsar ore.

Once you’re done, simply talk to Bruce & Mickey to end the request.

Smash! Smash!

For this next request, the siblings will ask you to take a short walk with them before requesting a Crusher building.

For the next request, you will be asked to build a Crusher.

Note that this building is unlocked via the Expert Blueprint Station, so you’ll need to upgrade to that first. We have information on all Blueprint Station upgrades in this guide.

As for the Crusher building itself, here’s everything you’ll need to make it:

7 Pulsar Ingots
15 Ash Planks
5 Zinc Ingots

Once built, the siblings will ask you to test it out by crushing some rocks. The request will end right after.

Once built, Bruce & Mickey will ask you to crush some rocks inside.

Mini Palace

Immediately after the last request, Bruce & Mickey will ask you to build them their accommodations on the ship. And they’ll give you the blueprints for their crib.

You will get the blueprints for Bruce & Mickey’s Crib right after finishing the last request.

To build Bruce & Mickey’s Crib, you will need these ingredients:

10 Ash Planks
5 Cotton Fabrics
2 Aluminum Ingots

Once the building is built, the siblings will thank you and end the request.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous

After giving you the request, Bruce & Mickey won’t tell you what upgrades you need to actually make.

For the next request, Bruce & Mickey will ask you to upgrade their crib. But they won’t tell you what improvements you need to make.

To make it easier for you, here are all the improvements you need for this request, as well as the required materials for each one:

A Taste of Home

Next up, the duo will ask for some lobster roll.

After improving their house, the two spirits will ask you for some Lobster Rolls.

These can be made by cooking flour and lobster in the kitchen.

Once you give this dish to the duo, you find out that they’re actually allergic to crayfish. So they will then ask for some fried chicken, which is made by combining sunflower oil and chicken.

So cook it up and simply hand the fried chicken to the duo to end this request.

After finding that the duo is allergic to crayfish, you’ll be asked to cook fried chicken instead.

Campin’ in a Cadillac

Next, Bruce & Mickey will ask you to go camping with them.

For this request, the duo will ask you to visit Greymist Peaks with them for a camping trip.

Before you can visit this island, however, you will first need the Mist Cleaner 1000 improvement from Albert’s Shipyard. This upgrade requires:

8 Silver Ores
22 Silk Fabrics
8 Bottled Ectoplasms
6 Crystal Glass Sheets
3 Spirit Flowers
3,000 Glims

With the upgrade equipped, head towards the island at X: 216, Y: 96.

Then Bruce & Mickey will give you their obols (you’ll get two instead of just one) on the island.

End the request by going back to your ship.

Bruce & Mickey will hand you two obols after meeting them on Greymist Peaks.

Mask Off

Immediately, the duo will ask you to stock up on carrots.

Once you’re back on the ship, Bruce & Mickey will immediately start the next request, which is to ask you to stock up on carrots.

So you’ll need to purchase some carrot seeds from the Hummingberg Raccoon Shop and plant them on your ship.

After harvesting about six or more carrots, Bruce & Mickey will talk to you and say that they need peaches instead.

After getting carrots, the duo will tell you that they instead need peaches.

You can purchase peach seeds from the Greymist Peaks Raccoon Shop for 8,000 Glims, and these are planted in the Orchard.

You can get peaches from peach trees planted in the Orchard.

Once you have harvested some peaches from the tree, Bruce & Mickey will talk to you again and say that they don’t actually need carrots and peaches, and that you messed up the “operation”.

After this, the duo will end the request.

Finally, Bruce & Mickey will complain again before ending the request.

Brothers Until the End

Next up, Bruce & Mickey will start their final request.

Immediately after the last request, Bruce & Mickey will say that it’s time for them to leave, and they will ask to be taken to the Everdoor.

As usual, head to the middle of the map towards the Everdoor and carry them on your dinghy to say their final goodbyes before leaving.

If the duo are the fifth spirit that you take to the Everdoor (Bruch & Mickey count as one spirit), then you will get another Hades sequence where you have to finish a platforming minigame to reveal more of Stella’s past life.

Otherwise, you’ll be back on the ship after, and Bruce & Mickey’s spirit flowers can be found inside their crib.

This ends Bruce & Mickey’s questline in the game.

Characteristics

Bruce & Mickey’s first request is to teach you the minigame for gathering pulsar ores.

In their life, Bruce & Mickey were sibling patients that Stella cared for.

In their base mood, the two will let sheep out of the enclosure, and will say mean things when happy. However, they will also harvest pulsar ore when at the top of their mood as a perk.

Their food preferences are:

Likes: Pub Food
Dislikes: Simple Food, anything with Crayfish

As for their minigame, Bruce & Mickey will introduce you to the pulsar rays event. This is where you will have to meet flying rays of light in order to gather pulsar ore.
