Candy Recipe Guide – Spiritfarer

Candy is an easy-to-make dessert-sized snack in Spiritfarer. Its only ingredient is any kind of sweetener, which can be Honey, Sugar, or Maple Syrup.

What You Need

For this dish, all you need is a couple simple things:

• The Kitchen
• 1 Sweetener (Any Type)

The kitchen itself is built very early during the game’s tutorial section, so you should have one at this point.

All Sweeteners

You can choose from three kinds of sweeteners available in Spiritfarer:

• Honey
• Maple Syrup
• Sugar

Option #1: Honey

The first option is Honey, and the quickest way to get that is as a reward from the “Honey, I Shrunk the Fishes” errand given by Francis. To complete this errand, you will need to catch these fish:

• 1 Albacore Tuna
• 1 Bluefin Tuna
• 1 Yellowfin Tuna

You can find tuna fishing locations marked all over the World Map. Just note that tunas are also the trickiest fishes to capture in the game, and can take anywhere between 3-5 minutes to catch.

Other than that, you can also get honey from the Field’s Beehive upgrade. However, this isn’t available to make until you can find the spirits Jackie and Daria much later in the game.

Option #2: Maple Syrup

For maple syrup, you’ll only be able to get that via another of Francis’ errands, “Sugar Shack’s Delight”.

Completing this errand requires the following:

Option #3: Sugar

And then for sugar, you want to start by purchasing sugar cane seeds from the Edgeborough Raccoon Shop for 200 Glims.

Then plant these seeds in your Field and harvest once they’re fully grown.

For the last step, bring your sugar cane in the Crusher and pound the raw sugar cane to make sugar.

How To Make Candy

Take your choice of sweetener and put it inside the kitchen oven. Once the timer starts, all you need to do is wait for it to finish counting down, and the dessert will be ready right afterwards.

Note that once it’s ready, any dish can burn if you leave it inside the oven for too long after the timer ends.

But once it’s cooked, you can give Candy to these spirits:

• Atul
• Summer
• Alice
• Stanley

You can also sell this dessert to Raccoon Shops for 450 Glims apiece.
