Clam Chowder is a type of soup in Spiritfarer. To make it, you will need milk and any type of clam, and you’ll need the Kitchen upgrade as well.

What You Need

For Clam Chowder, you will need three things:

Improved Kitchen
1 Milk (Dairy)
1 Clam (Any Type)

You can easily get the Kitchen Improvement blueprint through Atul’s “Big Stove” request.

How To Get Milk

Milk is taken from Cows.

To own cows, you’ll need the Cow Stall. This is unlocked with the Master Blueprint Station from Albert’s Shipyard. The full list of requirements for this upgrade can be found in our Blueprint Station guide.

Building the Cow Stall automatically provides you with a cow inside, and milking it will give you 3 bottles of Milk every time.

Make sure to feed the cow regularly as well to get more milk.

Note: Milk is the only food ingredient that falls under the dairy category.

How To Get Clams

Clam is usually found sticking in the hull of your ship.

For this ingredient, just jump into the water and look for clams that are sticking at the hull of your ship. If there aren’t any, head towards the Oxbury Region and sail around until you find some.

There are also two kinds of clams in Spiritfarer, both of which can be used in this dish:

Clam
Hard-Shell Clam

Aside from that, you can also get clams (as well as other shellfish) from fishing.

How To Cook Clam Chowder

Cooking Clam Chowder.

Take your ingredients to the Kitchen oven to start cooking.

You’ll see a timer pop up once you put the ingredients into the oven, and the dish will be ready once that timer finishes counting down. While waiting, you can also do other tasks around the ship.
