Corndogs are a simple pub dish you can make in Spiritfarer. Its ingredients include corn flour and pork.
What You Need
For this regular-sized pub dish, you will need:
- The Improved Kitchen
- 1 Bag of Corn Flour
- 1 Piece of Pork
To improve your kitchen, take the blueprint given by Atul during his “Big Stove” request. This upgrade allows you to make dishes that use two ingredients instead of one.
Where To Get Corn Flour
To get Corn Flour we’ll first need to grow some corn.
So start by heading towards the island of Hummingberg, where you’ll find a Raccoon Shop selling corn seeds for 50 Glims each.
After getting the corn seeds, plant them in your Field and harvest once ready. You can do this by either watering the plant regularly, or by playing the “Plantasia Fantastica” music minigame.
Once you harvest the corn, take it to the Windmill to turn it into flour. Here’s a quick step-by-step of how that process works:
- Go to the compartment beside the door and input your corn there.
- Head to the top floor and interact with the square column. Then, move it up or down to align it with the small wheel.
- Once the small wheel starts spinning, adjust the column accordingly. You can mill faster by sailing and taking advantage of the wind.
- Collect your corn flour from the windmill’s bottom compartment.
Note: In case you don’t have this building yet, we have a full Windmill guide covering how to build it, which materials you’ll need, and how it works.
Where To Find Pork
There are three branches of Raccoon Shops that sell Pork for 150 Glims apiece. The islands with these Raccoon Shops are as follows:
- Furogawa
- Oxbury
- Nordweiler
Out of all these islands, Furogawa is the easiest to reach, since you don’t need any prior ship improvements to visit there.
On the other hand, Oxbury requires the Rock Destroyer boat improvement, while Nordweiler needs the Icebreaker boat improvement.
Regardless of which shop you visit, you’ll just need to buy your Pork and be on your way.
How To Cook Corndogs
Take your ingredients to the kitchen and start cooking.
A timer will pop up from the oven, indicating how long you need to wait before the dish is ready. Leaving any cooked dish in the oven for too long will lead to burnt food – so keep an eye on the timer!
Once cooked, you can serve Corndogs to these spirits:
- Atul
- Bruce & Mickey
- Jackie
You can also sell this dish to Raccoon stores for 325 Glims each.
