To use the Crusher, simply interact with the machine inside and choose the item you want to crush from your inventory. Once confirmed, Stella will then crush all of the items into powders and oils. These are then used to construct various ship facilities and improvements.

How To Unlock the Crusher

Bruce & Mickey in Southpoint Docks.

To unlock the Crusher, you will need to do two things:

Recruit Bruce & Mickey
Get the Expert Blueprint Station

To get Bruce & Mickey, head towards Southpoint Docks (X: 157, Y: 22) and talk to the first spirit you see after climbing the ladder. They will ask you to “bully” another spirit (you just have to talk to them), and they’ll immediately join your ship as Bruce & Mickey.

Once they’re on your ship, their second request will be “Smash! Smash!”, where they’ll ask you to build the Crusher.

To do this, head towards Albert’s Shipyard and purchase the Expert Blueprint Station. This requires:

10 Iron Ingots
10 Wool Fabrics
1,000 Glims

After getting the upgrade, you should find the Crusher blueprint in your Blueprint Station.

How To Build the Crusher

Crusher Building Requirements
Material	Where/How to Get
7 Pulsar Ingots	Made by smelting pulsar ore in the Foundry. Pulsar ore is acquired from the Pulsar Rays minigame event.
15 Ash Planks	Ash plank is made from cutting ash logs at the Sawmill. Ash logs are cut from ash trees found in: Sunspring Square (X: 151, Y: -109) Ambertown Park (X: 216, Y: -72)
5 Zinc Ingots	Made by smelting zinc ore at the Foundry. You can mine zinc ore at: Southpoint Docks (X: 157, Y: 22) Hidden Thicket (X: -42, Y: -91)

Should you wish to, you can build more than one Crusher. However, each new one you build doubles the cost of the required materials.

How To Use the Crusher

After interacting with the Crusher, your inventory will show which materials you can crush.

Bruce & Mickey will teach you how to use the Crusher through the “Smash! Smash!” request. But here’s a quick step-by-step of how to use it:

Step 1: Enter the Crusher and interact with the machine.

Step 2: Choose from any of the available items that can be crushed and confirm it. You can crush up to five of the same item at a time.

Step 3: Repeatedly crush the items using the interact button until the output comes out. If you leave the Crusher before all of the items are processed, the remaining items will stay in the machine.

Crush the items by repeatedly clicking the interact button.

Here are all of the items you can process in the Crusher:

Note: The failed experiment output is unlocked through one of Stanley’s requests.

Improvement Upgrade

The blueprint for the Crusher improvement is a reward given from Susan’s Museum.

The blueprint for the Crusher Improvement is automatically rewarded to you by Susan once you complete all of the Gems in her collection. After getting the Crusher improvement, each item you process will output two units instead of one.

You can find Susan in Susan’s Museum, located at X: 150, Y: 150. The blueprint requires:

5 Pulsar Ingots	Made by smelting pulsar ore in the Foundry. Pulsar ore is acquired from the Pulsar Rays minigame event.
6 Comet Powders	Made by crushing Comet Rocks in the Crusher. Comet Rocks are obtained from the Meteor Showers event that Giovanni introduces to you.
6 Carbon Powders	Made by crushing Coal in the Crusher. Coal is mined from nodes found at: Hoseki Quarry (X: -138, Y: 28) Mount Toroyama (X: -99, Y: 34) Kalstein Mines (X: -99, Y: 117) Southpoint Docks (X: 157, Y: 22)
6 Silica Powders	Made by crushing Quartz at the Crusher. Quartz can be mined from the Quartz dragon, located at: X: -24, Y: 65 X: -172, Y: 45 Quartz can also be planted on one of the Turtle sisters for later harvesting.
585 Glims	Gathered from selling items, completing tasks, and playing event mini-games.
