Dakgangjeong is an exotic comfort dish in Spiritfarer. To make it, you will need Fireglow and Chicken.
What You Need
For this dish, you will need a few things:
- The Improved Kitchen
- 1 Fireglow
- 1 Chicken
The improved kitchen allows you to cook dishes with two ingredients, and the blueprint for it is acquired from Atul’s “Big Stove” request.
Where To Get Fireglow

You can only get fireglow from unique fireglow seeds, which you’ll need to plant and grow on the ship.
But first, you’ll need to recruit Gustav onto your ship & complete a bit of his questline.
After getting him on the boat, follow Gustav’s questline until he introduces you to the Firefly event. This minigame is one of Spiritfarer’s location-based events, and it can be found in these spots:
- X: -98, Y: 98
- X: 114, Y: -45
- X: 236, Y: -49
Catching the red fireflies will give you fireglow seeds, while regular yellow fireflies will give you Glims.
Once you have some Fireglow seeds, just plant them in your Field and regularly water until they grow like regular crops. In addition, you can skip the waiting process by playing the “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame.
Where To Get Chicken

To obtain chicken meat, you’ll first need the Icebreaker Boat Improvement that you can purchase from Albert’s Shipyard.
If you don’t have this upgrade yet then check out our boat improvement guide for details on the required materials.
Once you have the upgrade, head north and break through the ice barrier to visit Nordweiler. This island contains a Raccoon Shop that sells Chicken for 100 Glims.
Note: If you have the Rock Destroyer Boat Improvement, you can instead go to the island of Oxbury and purchase Chicken from the shop there. The price remains the same.
Cooking Dakgangjeong

Take your ingredients to the kitchen oven and confirm at the oven to start cooking. You can place up to five of each ingredient in the oven, and the timer will indicate how long you need to wait for the dish to cook.
Just remember to take the dish out once the timer ends to avoid it from getting overcooked and burnt.
Once cooked, Dakgangjeong can be served to these spirits:
- Atul
- Stanley
- Buck
- Gwen
- Gustav
You can also make some money by selling this dish to Raccoon Shops for 390 Glims each.
