Eggs Sunny Side Up is one of the quickest breakfast dishes you can make in Spiritfarer. Its only ingredient is one egg, which you can buy the Oxbury shop, or collect from chickens in your own coop.
What You Need
Seeing as this is a simple dish, all you need is:
- The Kitchen
- 1 Egg
The kitchen itself is introduced very early in the game, during Gwen’s Spiritfarer tutorial section.
Where To Get Eggs
There are two ways to get eggs in Spiritfarer:
- Buying them directly from the Raccoon Shop in Oxbury
- Getting them from Chicken Coops
The first method is easier and faster, but will cost more over time.
To reach Oxbury, you’d first need to visit Albert’s Shipyard to purchase the Rock Destroyer Boat Improvement. We have a complete guide to all boat upgrades which you can check out for more details.
After getting the upgrade, sail towards the island of Oxbury and purchase eggs from the Raccoon Shop there. Eggs cost 440 Glims apiece.
Building the Chicken Coop for More Eggs
When you buy an egg from the shop, you could just use it to make the dish. But since the eggs at the Raccoon Shop don’t refresh all that often, you can secure your egg supply by instead hatching it inside a Chicken Coop.
For this, make sure you’ve already unlocked the Expert Blueprint Station. If not, then a full list required materials can be found in our Blueprint Station guide.
The Expert Blueprint upgrade unlocks the Chicken Coop.
Once built, all you need to do is put the egg(s) inside the incubator in the Chicken Coop, and then place some seeds on the Feeder outside. After a day or two, the egg will hatch into a chick.
This chick will soon grow into a chicken that will lay eggs for you as long as it’s fed.
You can house up to six chickens inside the coop, and the eggs are retrieved from the compartment inside.
How To Cook Eggs Sunny Side Up
Take your eggs to the kitchen (you can cook up to five) and put them inside the oven to start cooking. A timer will appear, and the dish will be ready once the timer has finished counting down.
As always, make sure you don’t leave the dish inside the oven for too long or it’ll become burnt food.
When it’s ready, you can give Eggs Sunny Side-Up to any of these spirits:
This dish can also be sold to Raccoon Shops for 270 Glims each.
