Elena’s Cubicle is a simple one-room Spirit House that you can build in Spiritfarer.

It houses Elena, the only spirit in the game who’s mood goes down if you try to unlock improvements in her house.

How To Unlock

To unlock Elena’s Cubicle, you will first need to recruit Elena. Here’s a quick step-by-step to get her on the ship:

Step 1: Unlock the Bounce ability on Oxbury (X: 233, Y: 18) using two obols. You will also need to purchase the Mist Cleaner 1000 ship upgrade.

Step 2: After getting those two things, head on over to Crow’s End Inc. (X: -126, Y: -51).

Step 3: After arriving, head right past the platforming sections until you reach metal scaffolding.

Step 4: Interact with the elevator at the bottom and ride it to the top. Elena will be standing right beside the edge, and you can recruit her by simply talking to her.

Once she’s onboard, follow her questline. This includes acquiring the Dash Ability on the Greymist Peaks Shrine and finishing all three of her challenges (Elena’s Dharma).

After that, Elena will then request for her own spirit house through the “Four Walls & A Roof” request, unlocking the blueprints for Elena’s Cubicle.

Function

Elena’s Cubicle functions like past spirit houses you’ve built. Elena will sleep here at night, as well as spend a lot of time indoors.

What’s different is that Elena prefers having her spirit house simple, and will get a negative mood if you try to upgrade it in any way.

Still, Elena’s Cubicle still comes with a few available improvements. Her negative moods are also temporary, so you can still upgrade the cubicle if you wish.

Once Elena leaves for the Everdoor, all three of her challenges are available to trigger via the door of her spirit house.

Unlike other spirits, Elena likes her cubicle simple and undecorated.

2 Steel Sheets	Made in the Smithy. It requires: 1 Iron Ingot 1 Carbon Powder

Note that Elena’s mood will temporarily go down if you build any of these improvements.
