French Fries are a pub dish in Spiritfarer. The recipe requires 1 potato and 1 fat for ingredients. This is also the spirit Stanley’s favorite food.

What You Need

For this pub food recipe, you will need three things:

The Improved Kitchen
1 Potato
1 Fat (Any Type)

For the improved kitchen, take the blueprint from Atul during his “Big Stove” request. Improving the kitchen lets you make dishes that have two ingredients.

Where To Get Potatoes

Playing the “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame to grow potatoes.

You’ll need to get Potatoes simply by growing them yourself.

Start by visiting Albert’s Shipyard and purchasing the Rock Destroyer Boat Improvement (if you don’t have it already). We created a full boat improvement guide with a breakdown of all the materials needed for this upgrade.

After getting the upgrade, head towards the island of Oxbury and look for the Raccoon Shop there. That’s where you’ll find potato seeds 110 Glims each.

Plant these seeds in your Garden until they’re fully grown.

As with all crops, you will need to regularly water your potatoes or play the “Plantasia Fantastica” minigame for faster growth.

Where To Get Fats

Making fat in the Crusher is quick and easy.

You can choose from two kinds of fat in the Spiritfarer:

Olive Oil (Made from Olives)
Sunflower Oil (Made from Sunflowers)

Both of these ingredients can be used for French Fries, so totally your choice.

You can purchase the seeds for these plants from the following stores:

Olive Seeds (2,120 Glims, Edgeborough Shop)
Sunflower Seeds (140 Glims, Nordweiler Shop)

Plant these seeds in the Garden until you can harvest them. Like the potatoes, you can also use “Plantasia Fantastica” on these crops as well for faster growth.

After they’re fully grown, take your plants to the Crusher.

From there, just put your fatty plants into the machine and repeatedly press the interact button until fat comes out.

Cooking French Fries

Finally, take your two ingredients to the kitchen oven to start cooking. You can put in up to 5 copies of Fats and Potatoes at once.

After waiting for the timer to complete, your French Fries will be ready and you can take them out. Just make sure you don’t leave the dish inside the oven for too long after the timer, or you’ll end up with a burned dish.

French fries are Stanley’s favorite food, so giving some Fries to him will lead to a significant mood boost and perks around the ship. One of his perks includes giving you Tchotchke items that you can sell for additional Glims.
